BF6 Battle Royale Launches Tomorrow as a Complimentary Offering

After months of speculation, the battle royale experience for BF6 is officially launching. Recent talk claiming its arrival would happen alongside the new season were spot-on. Players can access the mode starting tomorrow.

Season 1 Adding a Brand-New Arena, Mode, and Arsenal

Together with the BR release, Season 1 is also kicking off. This adds a fresh location, a fresh game type, and fresh guns. Additionally, the Redacted Sector is arriving. A included trailer will go live at go-live, giving players a glimpse of what's to come.

Complimentary Model Allows Redsec Available to Any Player

Possibly the biggest announcement is that this new experience will be complimentary. Much like popular games, you do not need to own the original Battlefield 6 to play. A number of participants have already experienced alpha versions of the mode. These tests were run in a testing environment, which the developers described as their most ambitious fan involvement project.

The intense thrill while fighting enemy players is unmatched in other last-man-standing mode. It feels do or die, and you genuinely worry if you live or perish.
Although I was a skeptic earlier, I'm completely a fan of the battle royale after playing it.

Such early feedback from participants have been very positive. Certainly, the gameplay may have been adjusted over the last month or two in terms of tuning and speed. However, initial indicators are promising that this new mode could be a true rival to established games. Players are wishing that the top weapons from the main game will also apply in the new mode.
