The head of state conducted a visit to speak to Ukrainian forces in the eastern front on the start of the week. The president confirmed that he met with fighters at the operational headquarters of the 1st Corps of the state defense force Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya area, a town approximately 12 miles from Pokrovsk.
Recent mapping from a national effort showed that invading troops had made gains into the city and surrounding areas, though significant areas lacked clear dominance by either side. The conditions are severe, with reports indicating that opposition troops were fortifying positions and enhancing fortifications in certain areas.
Russian forces are pushing forward in the Pokrovsk front and are reportedly acting with growing ease within urban Pokrovsk.
Analysts observed that Ukrainian forces had liberated a significant portion of a opposition incursion in the Dobropillya direction, on the eastern flank of the Pokrovsk campaign.
Kyiv's aerial vehicles targeted a production facility approximately 1,300km inside Russia at the city. Local officials announced a detonation at the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant that caused its water treatment facility to partially collapse, adding that the reason for the blast was not known. The armed forces leadership stated there was extensive harm to the plant.
National forces said it struck a fuel processing plant at Kstovo in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region to the east of the capital. The degree of impact was being assessed. The local official acknowledged a strike by 20 drones near Kstovo.

Germany plans to boost armed assistance to the eastern European country by three billion euros next year to about 11.5 billion euros, the treasury department in Berlin said on Tuesday.
